Q&A--WHAT IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH?

Was Peter the First Pope? Today we, like Luther, have some questions we want to be answered about Roman Catholicism. Who would be better to answer them than the supposed first Pope, founder of the Roman Catholic Church, the Apostle Peter? First was he really the Pope? Not as the Roman Catholic Church represents him. Why? Peter was married and had a wife and mother-in-law (Mark 2, 1 Cor. 9:5). Peter never thought nor taught that the church was built on him (I Pet. 2:4-7). Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone. Then, what did he teach?
