Automating repetitive tasks with custom tools in Unreal Engine 5. [Krzysztof Pachulski, Epic Games]

Krzysztof Pachulski Evangelist | Epic Games Unreal Engine users have access to its full Source Code. Although, modifying the Engine isn’t the only way you can create custom tools. Most of the time you don’t even have to touch C to make it useful, and if needed – even fairly complex automatons. Krzysztof Pachulski is an Evangelist at Epic Games. His main background is programming, but he likes to call himself a generalist. Krzysztof loves creating engine tools, writing shaders, playing with synthesizers, and building & flying FPV drones. In this talk, the speaker will take a look at the different ways the Engine provides, and explore possibilities - from creating a simple button to refactoring the whole map. ✉️ Subscribe to the Games Gathering newsletter: 🌐 Games Gathering social media: Facebook – Instagram – LinkedIn – Telegram channel – Games Gathering — the biggest B2B conference in Eastern Europe dedicated to game development and the creation of high-quality gaming content.
