Impossible Climb Bernex hill climb race opens the season French Hill Climbing championship. 60 competitors took part in the competition. The track is 200 meters long. Only ten of them crossed the finish line. Julien Perrin was the fastest with time 0:22,060, second Julien Saporiti 0:22,440 and third Sylvain Gehin 0:22,740 Montee Impossible (orginal name) was held in the beautiful town of Bernex near the Swiss border. It was the 16th edition. The impossible climb is an individual motorcycle race where the competitor clashes with a natural coast, unpaved, extremely difficult (more than 45% in altitude in general), or deemed impassable. The goal is to get to the top as fast as possible or to climb as high as you can on the slope. Most often the machines used are prototypes.
