Resolve Stubborn Neck, Arm or Shoulder Pain - Cervical Retraction & Extension in Supine

Sam Schroetke & Erin Lloyd of Physical Therapy & Hand Clinic of Hillsboro demonstrate Cervical Retraction & Extension in Supine, which is a very useful exercise for those who respond to Cervical Extension in Sitting, but who were perhaps not achieving full resolution of symptoms or who found the seated version uncomfortable. The goal of this exercise is getting your neck to end range. Perform 10-15 reps, every 2-3 hours, or as needed as symptoms dictate.
