A resident of Sudzha (Kursk region) managed to escape the surrounded town by walking 60 km. Shelling started at three in the morning. He woke up to a crackling sound. People started leaving the town at 6-7am, when the young man was at work. His office happened to be located right on the way out of town. The traffic lights weren’t working. Cars were going full throttle through that intersection. There were loaded, beat-up cars coming out of town. The Ukrainians were already in town in the vicinity of the hospital. The man came home and asked his mom to get out of the town, but she refused. So, he walked alone through the fields under enemy helicopters, shells, and drones.
