Mid 1960s Britain by Jove - programme 1 - part 1. With Ray Alan and Lord Charles - Also Roddy Maude-Roxby as Cavendish. Title sequence - quick shots of Union Jack flag intercut with b/w stills of ventriloquist dummy Lord Charles, posing as ’Lord of the Manor’. L/S of Lord Charles’s house. Charles can be heard waffling on in the background. Ray Alan introduces the piece and says that Charles has called a press conference at his home.
