Soldier Handling Lizard (1930)

I would say that this story is more or less unusable due to nitrate decomposition damage from the original neg. No title. “Hypnotising Gila Monsters is this soldier’s odd job. — Phoenix, Ariz.“ M/S of a soldier standing behind a table. He picks up a lizard by its tail. He then grabs it by the head and flips it over. He holds it out towards the camera. “Watch closely and maybe you can try it out on your pet pup.“ He lays the lizard down on the table and passes his hand backwards and forwards over it, as if hypnotising it. Note: This is an extract from a “Walter Futter’s Curiosities“ film, presumably bought in by Pathe for reuse. Safety neg only. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
