Unreal Engine Batman Arkham #14: Gadgets and traversal upgrades
I’ve been cleaning up the gameplay code as of late, which also allowed me to fix most remaining bugs while completing the set of gadgets that I intended to add. This also made maintainance much easier for me, since all of the legacy code that I have since replaced with improved solutions is now gone. This was also partially because I had to deal with some GPU stability issues, which basically lead to the Unreal Editor crashing after an hour or less, so working on bigger things wasn’t really viable. (For those who are interested, seems like four years of heavy usage do take a toll on the stability of Vega 10’s HBM memory in form of what I assume to be electromigration/degredation). I’ve also used that time to refine some animation stuffs and to give enemy ragdolls a significant upgrade, as the eagle-eyed among you might notice.
In addition to that @IceMage, a modder that you’re probably familliar with if you’ve been around in the modding community of the Arkham games, took a shot
