Необычная гора Шандор-тау в Шугурово / Unusual mountain Sandor-tau in Shugurovo

Татарстан, деревня Шугурово. Когда, очень давно как минимум 285 млн. лет назад, в эпоху Пермского периода, на этом месте было древнее Пермское море, оно простиралось от Уральских до Кавказских гор. В теплых водах моря жили разного рода древние рыбы, водоросли и полипы, которые образовывали коралловые рифы, привлекавшие двустворчатых моллюсков, вот этих брахиоподов. При определенном везение их можно найти на этой горе, к стати, правильнее было бы называть её сопка. Но не только подобными находками примечательна это место - в 2003 году здесь работала группа геологов, среди которых была один из крупнейших знатоков стратотипических разрезов верхней перми Волго-Уральской области НАТАЛЬЯ КОНСТАНТИНОВНА ЕСАУЛОВА. В тот трагический день была гроза и молния попала в заброшенную буровую вышку, около которой и стояла Наталья Константиновна, позже вышку демонтировали... Tatarstan, the village of Shugurovo. When, a very long time ago, at least 285 million years ago, during the Permian period, there was an ancient Perm Sea at this place, it stretched from the Ural Mountains to the Kavkaz Mountains. In the warm waters of the sea lived all sorts of ancient fish, algae and polyps, which formed coral reefs that attracted bivalve mollusks, these brachiopods. With a certain luck, they can be found on this mountain, by the way, it would be more correct to call it a hill. But not only is this place remarkable for such finds - in 2003 a group of geologists worked here, among whom was NATALIA KONSTANTINOVNA ESAULOVA, one of the largest experts in stratotypic sections of the upper Perm of the Volga-Ural region. On that tragic day there was a thunderstorm and lightning hit an abandoned drilling rig, near which Natalia Konstantinovna was standing, later the tower was dismantled... The municipal formation “Staroshugurovskoye rural settlement“ is located in the South-East direction, 32 km from Leninogorsk. The rural settlement is connected to the city of Leninogorsk by paved roads, more than 98% are gasified with grid gas. The area is rich in minerals, large deposits of oil, gas and bitumen, as well as local building materials: limestone, dolomite, sand-gravel mixture, clay. The Shushma River flows through the territory. According to the relief, it is one of the highest located in the republic. The climate is temperate continental. The annual precipitation rate is 432 mm . The village of Staroe Shugurovo and the village of Novoe Shugurovo are located on the territory of the municipality “Staroshugurovskoye rural settlement“.
