Long story short, rather than close train stations on a small line in Japan, a cat was appointed a station master. Word spread and now Tama the Super Station Master cat has her own train and even a museum that has been built to look like a cats face. If you’re anywhere near Wakayama it’s a fun ride out on the Tama Densha and other related trains.
