What is an ARG?: “An alternate reality game (ARG) is an interactive networked narrative that uses the real world as a platform and employs transmedia storytelling to deliver a story that may be altered by players’ ideas or actions.“ (Wikipedia) What is a Creepypasta?: “Creepypastas are horror-related legends that have been copied and pasted around the Internet. Creepypasta has since become a catch-all term for any horror content posted onto the internet. These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers.“ (Wikipedia) Even though Creepypastas have fallen out of popularity, it is still a cultural pillar of the internet. Along with notable alternate reality games, the internet has created its unique brand of horror. In this video, I will take a deep into an iceberg that discusses these stories.
