Royal Family Host Sumptuous State Banquet for South Korean President

Royal family members including King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, attended a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace to welcome the South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol. Also in attendance were Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Sir Keir Starmer and K-pop girl band Blackpink. The King’s banquet speech praised South Korean culture’s “remarkable ability to captivate imaginations“. Although he admitted he hadn’t much of “what might be called Gangnam Style“. The banquet concluded the first day of the South Korean president’s state visit to the United Kingdom.
