Armed Russian officers raid Greenpeace ship - new footage revealed

Subscribe to ITN News: Fresh footage of armed Russian officers storming a Greenpeace ship has been released, showing how activists were herded at gunpoint. The raid on the Greenpeace ship, called Arctic Sunrise, took place in September as campaigners protested against oil rigging in the Arctic. Armed officers were dropped onto the ship’s desk by helicopter -- and the video shows how, when one activist seemed reluctant to move, they pushed him to the ground. The raid came after two members of the group had tried to climb Russia’s first off-shore oil rig. Thirty people -- including crew members and two journalists, as well as protestors -- have been in custody ever since, sparking international criticism. Report by Charlotte Cross.
