Metallica - "Enter Sandman" Live + Best Metal Performance Win at the 1992 Grammys

Lots to unpack in this clip. Metallica’s performance as usual, is great. That performance is immediately mocked by Whoopie Goldberg (you can see how Metallica felt about her comments by watching the “Year and a Half in the Life of“ home video). I believe this is also the last time the award for “best metal performance“ was ever shown during the primary Grammys broadcast. Then Lars hilariously knowing that Metallica were going to win no matter what since the Grammys were bashed so heavily for infamously giving the award to Jethro Tull in 1989.
