Specialists of Engineer Troops deploy Vepr BMR-3M to clear farmlands of Donetsk People’s Republic from explosive hazards The main task of the Vepr BMR-3M is to make paths through minefields. After passing, the vehicle leaves a line four metres wide, which is necessary for safe movement of tracked hardware and motor vehicles. After the Vepr BMR-3M passes, EOD specialists move out with probing rods and hand-held mine-detectors to dispose of explosive ordnance in the area. If the located explosive hazards that cannot be extracted, they are destroyed on the spot by pressure charges. ’An anti-personnel minefield was set up here.
