David Garrett Избранное · 3 ч. · We have got an English translation of my interview for the Feminity Magazine - and a new video for you! His sexy expressions and seductive blonde hair make women fall to their knees! Violinist David Garrett performs in Slavkov u Brna A violin virtuoso doesn’t have to be a boring guy in a conservative suit. A handsome, young man with a charming smile, seductive looks and a perfect body, he literally demolished the boundaries between Mozart and Metallica. Whether you like classical music or not, you will certainly lose nothing by looking at this German. It’s not just his music that brings the artistic experience, but also him. Talented violin virtuoso David Garrett can play 13 notes per second and at the same time he manages to perform literally theatrical scenes on stage. His sexy expressions and seductive blond hair make women fall to their knees. And we are not surprised at all! The rock soul hidden in an angel’s body makes David a world superstar. Fame, however, was not gained overnight. David Garrett worked hard to become a violin Olympus. He and his father worked daily and his childhood was full of discipline. He was born into a family of a German lawyer and an American prima ballerina. At the age of 4, he started playing the violin. He won his first major prize only a year later, and at the age of seven he began his studies at the conservatory. By the age of ten, David was on stage with major international orchestras. He was not overlooked by the then German President, Richard von Weisäcker, who gave the eleven-year-old David his first Stradivari violin. He developed his talent by studying in London, also in collaboration with the British violinist Ida Haendel. The moniker of child prodigy followed him until his 20s, when he decided to go to the Juilliard School of Music in New York to study, leaving behind classical classical music concertizing. Life and studies in New Yourk were by no means easy. He had to earn a living, as he knows how, so you could see David as a street musician or model. It was in New Your that a new classical genre, the crossover, was born, combining the virtuoso violin work of the world’s virtuosos and contemporary popular music. The unlikely combination of seemingly disjointed music has made Garrett better known than ever. The fact that David can captivate there’s no doubt about it. In 2008-2010 he was even a Guinness World Record holder, listed as the fastest violinist in the world. He can play up to 13 notes in 1 second. The talented violinist did not escape the watchful eye of director Bernard Rose, who cast him in the autobiographical film “Paganini: The Devil’s Violinist“. Who better to portray the legendary Niccòlo Paganini than David Garrett? In 2011, David performed for the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance. He didn’t deny his originality here either, performing a cover version of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit“. The way David plays the violin is literally breathtaking. His performance take on completely different dimensions and conquer the listener in a non-violent way. One of his most popular musical projects is “Rock Symphonies“. After the successful “Alive - my Soundtrack“ tour in 2022, David Garrett opens a new chapter with the aptly named ICONIC. The album is inspired by the legendary violinists whose works have enthralled Garrett since he was a child. David, together with the orchestra of Franck van der Heijden, has arranged music by Bach, Schumann, Dvořák and many others for violin, guitar and orchestra. David Garrett will be performing for the first time with guitar, bass and a 21-piece orchestra. Admired and beloved around the world, the violin magician has won 25 gold and 17 platinum awards to date. The new album ICONIC, which was released on November 4, 2022, immediately reached number 4 on the German Pop-Charts, an extraordinary achievement for a classical album. One of the most popular tracks, Danse Macabre, has more than 212 thousand views on . David Garrett is embarking on a world tour with his album called ICONIC TOUR 2023, which will take place on August 11, 2023 in the gardens of Slavkov Castle (Slavkov u Brna).
