LIVE: Demonstration is support of Palestine held in Paris

A demonstration in support of Palestine is taking place in Paris on Saturday, May 22, on the second day of the ceasefire in the recently escalated conflict between Israel and Palestine. The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was agreed on Thursday with the mediation of Egypt. The escalation lasted for 11 days and led to over 240 fatalities on the Palestinian side and 12 on the Israeli side, according to the respective authorities.
