Netanyahu: If Hezbollah fully joins war, it will mean devastation for both Hezbollah and Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hezbollah on Sunday (October 22) against opening a second war front with Israel, saying that doing so would bring Israeli counter-strikes of “unimaginable“ magnitude that would wreak “devastation“ upon Lebanon.
In a meeting with soldiers in northern Israel, Netanyahu said that was not able to tell them whether Hezbollah will decide to enter the (Gaza) war, but that such an act by Hezbollah will have ’devastating’ consequences on both Hezbollah and the state of Lebanon.
The war between Israel and Gaza, launched after a devastating cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, was “do or die“ for Israel, Netanyahu said.
