2018 Honda Civic Type R Nurburgring Full Lap - Inside Lane

The 2018 Honda Civic Type R has set new Nurburgring lap record for front wheel drive cars. This all-new 316bhp hot hatchback took the crown with a 7 minute 43.8 second time, beating the Golf GTI Club Sport S by 5.4 seconds. Here is the full lap from this turbocharged VTEC machine. The FK8 Type R used was a final development car meaning it exists in phase just before the first production car comes off of the line. For safety reasons a “floating roll cage” was installed that does not boot the boys strength.
