Стенолаз / Wallcreeper / Tichodroma muraria

A quick video of a female Wallcreeper that we found in one of the gorges in Romania. These birds have to be on the top of the list of birds that birders want to see before they die and after seeing them, I can see why. They were amazing little birds, clinging onto bare rock without any effort, even though there didn’t look to be any purchase. The scarlet on their wings is vivid, and thankfully they constantly show it off with their wing flicking. A truly brilliant experience.
