Tony Bennett - “If I Ruled the World“

“If I Ruled the World“ was composed by Leslie Bricusse and Cyril Orander for the 1963 west end musical “Pickwick“. Sir Harry Secombe recorded this in 1963 and got it to #18 on the UK Singles Chart, but other artists also recorded this tune, notably Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, and of course, in this version, Tony Bennett.
