I once believed the enormous stones of #Baalbek in Lebanon were unexplainable; and therefore they must hark back to some lost #AncientCivilisation that harnessed some form of ancient high technology. The experts say they’re Roman in origin, but everyone else says they can’t be. So what’s the truth? There are three main questions surrounding the great #trilithon of Baalbek – when were they quarried and placed into position, why were they needed and how did they get there?
