Restoration Rusty Survival Knife

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new knife restoration project. I found this rusty knife at a flea market. As I understand it, someone made it in the workshop and forgot about it. It was lying in a pile of rusty junk. The shape is similar to a military knife, but also to a survival knife too. 0:00 Review 0:29 Rust removal 1:18 Correction 1:46 Bevels 2:51 Guard 5:44 Handle 7:42 Tang 8:26 Pommel 9:32 Handle Fitting 10:20 Gluing 11:04 Processing 11:34 Sheath 17:10 Final Review 18:31 Test 19:37 Cooking 20:26 Tasting The Dish 21:00 Behind The Scenes As usual I used rust remover liquid, after I washed it and impregnated via oil. After via files and sandpapers I corrected back serrations of knife. Via belt grinder machine I made a bevels of knife and polished cutting edge via sandpapers from 120 to 3000 grit. Handle of knife I made from nut tree. Knife pommel and guard I made from brass. The knife sheath I made from made of leather and plywood. As usual I made test for you. I hope you will enjoy this knife
