‘Kalki-Avatar’ denotes the Divine Messenger who brings help above all against the pollution of the environment and thoughts. After Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj (abbreviated as Shree) took the vow to resuscitate the Vedas, five guidelines were revealed to him by means of which the world can be brought back into balance - the Fivefold Path was given. One of the guidelines includes Yajnas (fire ceremonies), of which Agnihotra is the basic Yajna. Horst Heigl travelled from Germany to Shree a total of 33 times. This film was made in 1977 and supplemented with footage from later years. Shree, whose days were mainly filled with spiritual disciplines, is also shown here on a private side, e.g. with children of his relatives.
