Eruption of Krakatau 10-11 April 2020 close up

A violent paroxysm occurred at Anak Krakatau during the night 10-11 April 2020. The eruption began around 20:00 local time at the new crater of Anak Krakatau with emission of steam/ash clouds, followed by rapidly intensifying strombolian activity, which escalated into lava fountaining until the morning. Note many incandescent bombs flying in front of the camera... At some point, the camera suddenly tilts, perhaps when hit but fortunately not destroyed by a projectile. Eruption update:
