Russia: Iskander-M missile system conducts successful launch

An Iskander-M missile system test-launch took place at the Kapustin Yar range, Astrakhan region, Sunday. Service personnel of the missile forces of the Western Military District completed the successful ballistic missile launch of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system. The rocket was launched at a range of more than 100km, aiming at a target simulating the command post of a conventional enemy. “Everything was well, the rocket found its aim,” said Vasily Ivashenenko, Head of retraining for ne
