Let’s Grow this channel to 1000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!! Today we’re in Bello, Colombia. Join me as it’s Valentine’s Day. Bello also means beautiful so join me and let’s go try and get lucky and find a beautiful lady! LET“S GOOO!!!! Most people will tell you to only visit El Poblado or Laureles in Colombia. If you read about Bello, Colombia online you will mostly find people saying only negative things ofd how dangerous and unsafe it is. Is that really true? Let’s find out!! We start our journey at the Bello Main Park at the Nuestra Señora Del Rosario. I then continue to walk through the park to see what everyone is up to. After that I stroll through town checking out all the shops, restaurants and random people selling anything from candy to food and drinks. I soon discover a unique sculpture called the Monumento a RosalIa SuArez. Do you know what it’s for? Let me know. Then I find a super old looking tree with a concrete bench built into it. How cool! Shortly after I run into a guy dressed in bright yellow and bright blue pushing a cart. I was intrigued so I stopped him to see what he was selling. After a quick chat with him I purchased a crispy small bag of “Palomitas”? I opened it to discover it was caramel flavoured popcorn. Very tasty and a light snack for only $ I then strolled around some more immersing myself in the Bello area and became thirsty and sure enough I ran into a guy selling Guarapo. An ice cold fresh lime drink. Very refreshing for only $. Then I started to look for a gift for my future wife. Let’s see what I can find. I skipped all the roses and ended up buying a gift basket with a cheap balloon. I decided to give the small balloon away to a little girl and bought a bigger more beautiful balloon for my future girl. On the way back to my hotel I stopped at a local fruit market to buy some MORA Fruit. I went to my hotel to wash it. It tasted like a cross between raspberries and blackberries but it was tart and NOT sweet. Not my favourite because I love sweet! DULCE!! When I got to my hotel I was surpised to have found my love (mi amore) and gave her the special gift and balloon for Valentine’s Day. She was happy and thankful but super shy. Finally I head out down some local streets to see how safe the streets in Bello are. To be honest they seemed very safe and not dangerous at all. I had no troubles. Not sure what all the negative hype was all about online! I hope you enjoyed our short time in Bello, Colombia and you will come here to visit if you are ever near Medellin, Colombia. Also, hopefully I will see you in the next one where we head to Guatape, Colombia! You don’t want to miss out it’s a very unique and colourful town! Keep On Bouncing Baby!
