For we are the aroma of Christ to God 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 English Standard Version 15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? Understand children of God that we as God’s people smell like different things to God, to other saved individuals, and to the world. To God and to other saved individuals we are the aroma of Christ, we smell like life but to the unsaved world, those who are not born again, we smell like death we are a constant reminder to them that if they don’t change they will die and be sent to hell so don’t be too offended my brother and my sister when the world avoids us, tries to stay away from us, tries to exclude us because to them we are a constant reminder of their coming death and judgment.
