Livin’ Blues – Livin’ Blues Live 1975 Holland ,Rock, Blues

Livin’ Blues – Livin’ Blues Live 1975 Holland ,Rock, Blues Livin ’Blues was a blues rock band from The Hague. Around 1970 the band with Cuby Blizzards was counted among the absolute top of the Dutch blues world. The core consisted of Ted Oberg (guitar), John Lagrand (harmonica) and Nicko Christiansen (vocals, born Dominicus Christiaan Jansen). Manager of the group was the mother of Ted, Francoise Oberg Livin’ Blues at its very best. This dutch outfit is, in my humble opinion, under rated and over looked. The Netherlands produced some fantastic bands in the past and this is one of them. Livin’ blues were always at their best when playing live. This blues band from Holland had been around since 1967 before making this live recording. The cd package indicates only 7 tracks but there are 6 bonus cuts making it a 13 selection group is rather progresseive in their approach as can be confirmed by their rendition of HOOCHIE COOCHIE MAN.
