Winter Cabin Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

Let’s get in the mood for the season with a frosty winter cabin painting! This is a good lesson for beginners on up! I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like. I used: • A 1-inch flat brush • 5/8-inch angle brush • 1/2-inch angle brush • #8 bright • #8 filbert • Stiff, flat, natural bristle brush • #4 cloud brush • Chalk I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors: • Titanium White • Phthalocyanine Blue • Phthalocyanine Green • Burnt Umber • Cadmium Red Deep • Naphthol Crimson But you can use any colors you like.
