3 minutes of pure sherman radial engine sound

Listen to the wonderful sound of this Continental R-975-C4 radial engine (9 cylinders, 15,9L, about 450hp). Turn up your speakers! Hear it cold starting and revving! There is a lot of smoke when starting because of the configuration of the engine: as it is a radial engine, when not running, oil accumulates in the lower cylinder, hence the smoke when cold starting. The featured tank is a Sherman M4A1E8 HVSS 76mm restored in Bastogne by the team of the War Heritage Institute. It was seen during Tanks in Town 2017 in Ghlin, Belgium.
