Sir Keir Starmer has said “change begins now” as he prepares to enter Downing Street with one of the biggest Commons majorities in history. The Labour leader said it was “time to deliver” after the party officially reached the 326-seat mark required to govern with a majority. Rishi Sunak said he had called Sir Keir to concede the election after leading his party to a crushing defeat, with the exit poll indicating the party is set to fall to 131 seats, down from 365 five years ago.
