Where EA failed with C&C RTS Indie developers picked up with Global Conflagration and AAA gameplay

Global Conflagration is an RTS with base building and modern unit combat with infantry, vehicles, helicopters and jets that looks and plays almost like a AAA game despite being made by only two enthusiastic and talented indie developers with some help from freelance creators and passionate real time strategy players. ✅Global Conflagration playlist: 🟣Global Conflagration’s Discord: ⭐UPCOMING STRATEGY GAMES⭐ 🛒 Steam store link: Chapters 0:00 Its indie but AAA quality 0:47 Fan favorite RTS features 1:40 Capture points, no builder 2:39 Garrison buildings 3:03 Entire map is the battlefield 3:29 Global Measures & Resources system 4:14 Faction unique powers 5:54 Modern units and abilities 7:16 Scrap and Unit refunds 8:42 Table of attack vs armor 9:15 Bounty capture point system 9:58 Checkpoints, Strongpoints and more 10:56 Turrets and power 12:09 Veterancy leveling system 12:52 The Chemical Trooper 14:40 The Firefly heli 15:07 Fighter planes and bombers 16:35 Special forces infantry 17:17 Artillery units 17:52 Infantry abilities 18:43 Drones and stealth tanks 19:34 Toxic bomb truck 20:02 Gameplay & Combat speed 20:53 What to expect in the future Last playable version of Global Conflagration showed a bunch of new stuff, like the short singleplayer introduction, diversified commander powers for each of the three asymmetrical factions, the system of garrisoning buildings, tougher AI to play against in Skirmish, new units and their abilities as well as many more things. What keeps drawing me back into Global Conflagration each time it has a demo or playtest on Steam is exactly what most of us consider is at the heart of an enjoyable RTS game: Build a base, recruit lots of units and blow up your enemy in spectacular combat. And this indie gem in the making fits that description perfectly! It also has some of the most requested features I often see fans of the genre ask from RTS game developers, such as unit veterancy leveling system, a compact UI menu for both building and recruitment, a replay system that is still a work in progress, as well as units firing from transports, and a waypoint system that also works on the minimap. The great one liner callouts from units are just the cherry on top! You start in Global Conflagration with an HQ building, some cash, a baseline income and power production. There is no builder unit and you can only build new buildings in the green range of previous ones. This is on maps for up to 8 players in skirmish and multiplayer, but you can expect a very similar setup in its future singleplayer campaign. Additionally, you also start with a rifleman squad and a scout which you send out to capture flags. Now these are no victory point flags, but capture points marked by flags which produce a steady income for the player controlling them. #RTS#gameplay#GlobalConflagration
