The Art of Giving: Introduction to Dāna (EP1) by Ven. New York Kusaladhamma

As spiritual practitioners, we seek higher spiritual happiness and wisdom for others and at least ourselves. We achieve that by associating with spiritual friends that have beneficial qualities. We cultivate beneficial actions, Kusala Kamma, and good inner qualities, developing the wholehearted wish and capacity to achieve our spiritual goal such as becoming enlightened or becoming a great teacher who guides many to enlightenment. Kusala Kamma (Good Karma) that produce future results include a very fundamental practice called Dāna which means giving.
