Elvis Presley “Help Me“ with slideshow. wmv

Help me sung by Elvis Presley, beautiful song. One of my favorites from Me was recorded on December 12th 1973 at Stax Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis recorded the song in just one take. Overdubs were added to the track on January 11 1974 at RCA Studio’s - Hollywood, California. The song was first released in May 1974 as the b side for the single “If You Talk In Your Sleep“. In the same year it also appeared on a live album “RECORDED LIVE ON STAGE IN MEMPHIS“. Help Me is the third track from the album LP “Promised Land“ which was released in January 1975. Elvis performed the song 125 times on stage in the seventies. The song was written by Larry Gatlin and first recorded by Sonny Boy Williamson II in 1963. Elvis’s cover of the song did not chart on the Billboard Pop Charts. However it reached #4 on Cash Box Magazine Top Country & Western Singles & #6 on Billboard Top Country & Western charts I do not own this song. No copyrights intended.
