Ojai Music Festival 2014: World Premiere of “The Classical Style: An Opera (Of Sorts)“

The 2014 Festival featured the world premiere of “The Classical Style: An Opera (of Sorts),“ a commissioned opera with libretto by Jeremy Denk and music by Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Steven Stucky. “The Classical Style“ is based on the eponymous award-winning book by American pianist and scholar Charles Rosen.
