you can now support what i do on patreon! a tape loop, with a modular patch. hello everyone! this video is a pretty long tape loop that played through about three times. the patch I put on the tape was a random VCV Rack patch I found in my files, I don’t even remember making the patch I used but I believe I may have followed a tutorial from Omri Cohen to create it. (but i’m not sure) I’ve been wanting to do a long tape for a while after I saw a video by Blank For_ms where he used a nice piano sample on a longer tape loop and was wiggling the tape with his fingers to make an incredible warble. I did start out with a piano sample but it didn’t sound as good so I went with this modular patch instead. I liked how I could listen to it for a long time and not really get bored of it. this is my first music making video in a while because I have been busy with getting my beat tape ready to go, and because the brain of my operation (the NTS-1) has broken so I need to get a new one. but until then I am going to get creative with my setup.
