The old Russian romance “Not a word, my friend“ (1861 г.) performed by Konstantin Lisovsky (tenor), the Honored artist of RSFSR. Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The original lyrics of the poem “Silence“ was written by an Austrian poet Moritz Gartman, later the poem was translated in Russian by A.N. Plescheyev. The Central Television of the USSR. Konstantin Pavlovich Lisovsky is a Russian famed tenor. He used to be the artist of the Alexandrov Red Army Choir since 1954 till 1966. After that he became a soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic. Since 1979 he has been teaching at the Department of Solo Singing at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Professor).
