New FERRARI F80! First Look at the LaFerrari Successor

This is the brand new FERRARI F80! Join me in Maranello for a first look at Ferrari’s awaited successor to the LaFerrari, now completing the Big 6. Limited to 799 cars, featuring a hybrid V6 powertrain derived from Formula 1 and the Le Mans 24H winning 499P, let’s check it out! Ferrari’s famous Big 5 of the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari has now grown to a sixth member, celebrating the upcoming 80th anniversary of the company and appropriately named to match. Each previous member of this prestigious family has incorporated technology that defined its era, often the latest from motorsport, and the new model continues this legacy. Boasting 1,200hp in total from the twin turbocharged V6 that produces 900hp and 850Nm alone; combined with a series of electric motors for an e-4wd system, plus MGU-K and MGU-H setup to offer mind bending performance of 0-100km/h (62mph) in just , and 0-200km/h (124mph) in a mere , before reaching a limited top speed of 350km/h (217mph). However, there’s a lot to it; F80 offers 1,000kg of downforce with active aero front and rear; the independent active suspension works in harmony with the aero elements, generative design and 3D printing is used for some components, the interior features a new 1 seating configuration; and so much more. It has been an honour to visit Ferrari in Maranello to explore the new F80 ahead of the global debut; no doubt the upcoming customers of Ferrari’s latest hypercar are going to own a phenomenal machine.
