Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 49 (H-IIA F49) launched IGS Radar-8 (情報収集衛星レーダ8) from the Yoshinobu Launch Complex, at JAXA’s Tanegashima Space Center, Japan, on 26 September 2024, at 05:24:20 UTC (14:24:20 JST). The Information Gathering Satellite (情報収集衛星, IGS) Radar-8 is a Japanese radar reconnaissance satellite.
