But, Hey. (GTA 5 Tribute)

Well, here we are. I don’t normally indulge in this self-congratulatory stuff, but I felt like tipping my hat to this crazy, crazy game that has allowed me to explore movie-making, design, and storytelling. Eight years ago today, GTA 5 came to PC, and the rest is history as they say. Pixelated, blurry YouTube download-type history, of course. I’ve lost the files to much of these projects, and it makes me realize the importance of documenting my progress while I have the chance. 15,000 hours of GTA 5 is no exaggeration, and it is only an estimate. Between crafting machinima and mindless Online escapades, it may be more. But, what a catalogue! Now that I have my nostalgia goggles on, I appreciate immensely the opportunity to craft art through the years with this game. Should I have taken up actual 3D software like Blender and Unreal Engine a long time ago? Yeah, for sure. Nonetheless, it has been a great ride, and to the five people still watching, I thank you for being here. Until GTA 6 comes out, this is the last you’ll see of Grand Theft Auto from me. Music is Pool Song by Lea Porcelain. Sounds like a loved one leaving home in a taxi on a golden afternoon.
