The assault units of Russian paratroopers completing their training
At one of the training grounds in the rear area of a special military operation, the training of assault units of the Guards Mountain Airborne Forces from the group of troops in the Zaporozhye direction is being completed. At the training ground, paratroopers undergo intensive combat training.
Military personnel perform combat firing using standard small arms and military equipment, practice actions in combat teams of twos and threes, the actions of grenade launchers, and snipers with large-caliber rifles work from remote positions. They also shoot for accuracy and speed at targets at various ranges from automatic weapons and machine guns, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and automatic grenade launchers at targets simulating enemy manpower and lightly armoured vehicles. Military personnel throw grenades, storm simulated enemy strongholds, and conduct engineering training classes with various explosives.
The training of personnel is carried out by experienced instructors of the unit. Under the guidance of instructors-mentors with rich modern combat experience, paratroopers daily practice countering sabotage reconnaissance groups, study the basics of tactical medicine, engineering equipment of positions, as well as working with unmanned aerial vehicles. They are preparing to regroup on the battlefield in a coordinated manner.
The conditions are as close as possible to real combat. All actions are honed to the point of automation. Airborne assault units participate in combat operations in the most difficult and dangerous sections of the line of combat contact, as they are trained at a high level and are ready to complete any assigned task.
