LOW 7S IN A STOCK CHASSIS RX8 - KEVIN AWADSON PAC PERFORMANCE 20B RX8 2021 SYDNEY JAMBOREE

We doubt Mazda ever intended the factory RX8 chassis to be propelled down the quarter-mile at this rate but Kevin Awadsn has proven just how capable this often-overlooked platform is! After having a break from racing, Kevin returned to Sydney Dragway in his Pac-built 20B RX8, keen to take advantage of the new track surface. While traction was an issue for many of his runs on the day, we did get to witness this stock chassis beast put down a flying @187 PB with a solid 60-foot in the afternoon as he lined up next to fellow radial racer & Pac customer Andrew Zada - all on 275 radial tyres that are tucked into the factory Mazda wheel tubs 💪 Watching this car fly down the track, gun barrel straight and with all 4 wheels planted firmly on the surface simply boggles your mind but with the chassis & suspension gurus at Profab Motorsport Fabrications working their magic on the car, things start to make perfect sense!
