Those 3 methods could also be applied in some ways to Iaido, Kendo and of course, any Jujutsu-like art that uses a classic Judo type black belt. Those methods are, however, not suitable for wearing a Hakama at a formal occasion. The first method presented is the one used by Seido’s founder Jordy. With this method, the Hakama should stay in place. The second method, is the most common in Aikido.
