A dog has been rescued after being trapped in a shipping container for more than a week 📍 Coast Guard officers at the Port of Houston found a dog in one of the shipping containers while checking them. They heard the animal barking, after which they set about rescuing the four-legged animal. 📍The officers had to use a crane to lower the container to the ground. It was only then that the dog was removed from it. 📍The dog was nicknamed Connie. It was later discovered that the dog had spent at least 8 days in the container without water or food. 📍The animal looked gaunt, so he was immediately taken to the shelter. There the dog was examined and further treatment was determined.
