Flatten your Belly with Hibiscus, Cinnamon, Bay Leaf Tea | The Frugal Chef

This hibiscus, cinnamon and bay leaf tea will help you get rid of retained fluids and gas -- which in turn will help you get rid of your belly. This is not a magic potion. You will still have to eat healthy and exercise. Remember this is a diuretic so you will be getting up at night to pee. Why this works - Hibiscus is a natural diuretic, eliminates toxins and prevents bloating. Bay leaves are anti-inflammatory, diuretic, digestive and help you eliminate gas. Cinnamon is a thermogenic so it helps you burn fat by increasing your body temperature. It also reduces anxiety (bay leaves do too) and helps control the glucose in your blood keeping your cravings at bay.
