The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich [1968] part 2 (William Shirer)

There is so much information available about the horrors about Nazi Germany, however the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer is the granddaddy of them all. Partly because it was one of the first biographical attempts to gather the material so soon after the war ended, Shirer himself lived in Germany during the 1930s. But also, because it set the pattern of how to view the Nazis from their very beginning to the very end. This is a fascinating topic to be sure, however it’s like studying the devil, for the Nazis were the worst type of humans on the planet. I believe that Adolf Hitler represents a foreshadowing of what the end times will look like under the Antichrist. The reason I feel it is important to show this documentary is that I want people to reexamine themselves and reevaluate what it means to be an American.
