Drunk Man Flees CHP Officers On Christmas Eve | San Bernardino

| 6:52 PM | SAN BERNARDINO - A CHP Lake Arrowhead officer was manning the roadblock set in place due to the road washout when a pickup truck approached at a high rate of speed and possibly ran the roadblock. The officer pursued the suspect as San Bernardino CHP officers joined in the pursuit. The suspect travelled at slow speeds all throughout north San Bernardino, Muscoy, Devore, and finally driving back to Rialto. Officers pursued the suspect for just under an hour, and PIT and spike strip attempts were unsuccessful. The suspect drove down a dead end street, where he was unable to continue any further.
