Maya: A Leg [Character Animation]

3D characters usually talk – and walk. In this tutorial I show you the basic setup of a LEG, first with the straight forward way of “Forward Kinemantics“ and then using “Inverse Kinematics“. IK lets you concentrate on important things because it takes care of correct rotation of the skeleton’s joints, in our example the knee and the foot.
