Against those who dare to forbid the kissing of the Holy Icons

(From the footnotes to the 7th Ecumenical Synod as found in “The Rudder“ of St. Nicodemos the Hagiorite. This video clearly reveals that the 7th Ecumenical Synod commands explicitly that the Holy Icons be kissed (in the 7th Act of this Synod). It also clearly condemns (in its 6th Act) those who accept the Icons for the purpose of gazing upon them, but who, refuse to “embrace and kiss them fondly“. The voice of an Ecumenical Synod is the very voice of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Who will dare to contradict? The Synodikon of Orthodoxy further declares: “To them .... who do not embrace the Acts of the Ecumenical Synods ... Anathema, Anathema, Anathema!“ I hope this video, by the mercy of God, will help many to repent.
